Silicon Dioxide Opening Agent

Silicon dioxide opening agent (anti-adhesion agent) is a synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, is a highly effective anti-adhesion agent, loosening agent,  used as a polyolefin IPP film, polyethylene LDPE film and used as a BOPP bi-directional polypropylene film efficient opening agent.

Silicon dioxide opening agent characteristics:

It can maintain the high luster of the coated film.

High specific surface area, strong anti-adhesion, very suitable for BOPP bi-oriented polypropylene film materials as an opening agent.

Good dispersibility, can be very evenly dispersed in the resin to make 10-25% anti-adhesion masterbatch.

High specific gravity, can prevent excessive dust flying during the production process.

High purity, content up to 98%, low weight loss on drying.

Compared with ordinary films, the addition of silica opening agent effectively improves the phenomenon of “end yellowing”.

The porous structure of silicon dioxide can absorb iron ions and other metal ions, so that it is not easy to oxidize and turn yellow.

It exhibits a greater density of buildup, which makes it easier to mix with resins and facilitates processing.

 It is 100% synthetic amorphous silicon dioxide, does not contain any silicon crystals, and will not form “silicosis”.

It is FDA-approved and contains no organics.

Friction: Static/kinetic friction is reduced significantly, allowing customers to reduce the amount of amide-based lubricants added.

Fogging: The use of silica openers has little effect on fogging.

Impact on film clarity is less than most competitive brands.

Impact on film optical properties is minimized, yellowing is improved, and excellent aperture opening is achieved.

Packaging:

This product is packed in film-covered valve bags or kraft paper bags lined with plastic film. Net weight: 10Kg/bag.
